A year without shows

It's a funny thing, how sometimes life likes to steer you in different directions than you thought you wanted to go. I made the decision this past winter to not do any craft shows in 2020. I have a two year old and an infant and even the idea of trying to go to a show made me tired (even more tired than I already am!). My husband and I decided that we could get by if, rather than travel as I usually do, I stayed home and worked on the pile of ideas that I have been too busy to follow through on up until now. It was a difficult decision and a risky financial move, but it seemed like the right thing to do. Come March of 2020 and the advent of Covid-19, my decision feels less terrifying and instead, more freeing. No one can go to craft shows this year, we are all going to stay home and work on new projects, come up with new ideas, reinvent ourselves.

I hope to keep you all posted of the new ideas brought forth by this time of transition and reflection. For now, suffice it to say that I'm definitely keeping busy! I will also continue to offer my work through my physical gallery, Handwork Cooperative in Ithaca, NY as well as my online shop. In addition, I am still taking custom orders, so shoot me an email if you're looking for some custom Hannah Graeper Pottery! Until life gets a little more steady, be well, enjoy the little things and I'll see you on the other side.
