8th Annual Gorge Road Artisan Market

The days grow short, the cold weather has come to stay and another holiday season is upon us. I hope you will join me at my 8th annual Gorge Road Artisan Market, this Sunday, December 10. The event will be held at 3406 Gorge Rd. in Trumansburg, NY from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. It is free and all are welcome! This year I will be joined by several wonderful vendors. As always, Laurel O'Brien will be in attendance selling her beautiful, handmade jewelry. We will also be joined by Esther Yaloz of Planetarium Designs and Laurin Ramsey of Lion Tail Press. In addition, we will have Melissa Madden from the Finger Lakes Cider House selling her delicious, farm fresh hard ciders. This year we will have musical accompaniment by the talented Old Time duo Steve Selin and Rosie Newton. They're planning to play in the morning, so arrive early if you want to hear them play their classic fiddle tunes. This year I will be selling my regular line of work but I've been working on some new patterns! I've also been expanding on the line of Holiday ornaments that I started experimenting with last year. Laurel O'Brien and I will each be raffling off a piece and all of our work will be discounted 10%. As some of you may have noticed, I was conspicuously absent from all my regular craft shows this year. Well, I had a baby! While I've been absolutely enjoying being a mom, I haven't had much time in the studio. This holiday sale is one of the only events that I will participate in this year. If you missed me earlier in the year, please consider coming out to the Gorge Road Artisan Sale. If you can't make it this weekend, I will have work available through the holidays at Handwork Cooperative Gallery in Ithaca NY, the West End Gallery in Corning, NY and at Clayscapes Pottery in Syracuse, NY.
