Getting Ready for 2015

National-Forest-Winter-Scene.jpg

2014 was an exhilarating but rather exhausting year and I took a few weeks at the beginning of 2015 to catch my breath and take a much needed vacation. I'm slowly transitioning back into the studio and buckling down for what will undoubtedly be another wild year! It's been pretty wonderful getting back into my sweet little studio. It's cozy and bright and very conducive to making pretty things. And even though it's cold and gray here in upstate NY, I can go cross country skiing right out my back door and be inspired by the rugged beauty of the Finger Lakes in winter.

Right now, I'm mostly catching up on back orders and trying to build up my inventory for the upcoming show season. Much of my time has actually been taken up with applying to shows. I won't hear back from many of the ones that I applied for until later this spring. As soon as I hear back, I will be posting my 2015 show schedule. At the moment, I know that I will be participating in the American Fine Craft Show at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum Of Art in Hartford, CT (April 24-26). I also know that I will be returning to Rhinebeck, NY for the Rhinebeck Arts Festival, October 2-4. More to follow!
