Busted up

I am officially broken....My collar bone is quite split in half and I will not be able to throw anything on the wheel for about 6 weeks. And right at the beginning of the holiday season! What a bummer. It would have been so nice to have been able to write, 'now's the time to put in your holiday orders' but instead I must ask for your patience while I heal. I'm going to attempt some handbuilding projects in the near future, but with my right arm and hand totally out of commission, we'll see what kind of funny lookin' pots I create. I'm also hoping to be able to continue work on my glazes. Having this unexpected down time may be a blessing in disguise in that I've been meaning to further develop my glaze palette. It also gives me time to work on this website and to get all my non-studio ducks in order. Things could certainly be worse! Until I'm back at the wheel, I'm sure I'll have plenty to keep me busy.
